Good Evening Parents,

This week we continue our annual Read-a-Thon.  Please encongare your child to read every day . All money raised from Dual Inmersión classes will be used to purchase Spanish/Bilingual Books. On Friday, March 4th, students and staff are encouraged to come to school dressed as their favorite book character and we will be having a morning literacy event in the MPR at 8:00 a.m. Families  are invited to join us to read and enjoy breakfast treats together.

Remember to turn in the conference appointment form. If you cannot make this time, let me know as soon as possible in order to reassign a new date.

Here is some information for the week.

3/1 & 3/4- VAPA a.m

3/2- Bring library books

3/4- Read Across America-Come dressed as your favorite book character

3/10 -Parent conferences begin

3/10-18- 1:55 Dismissal time

Good Evening Parents,

These four days off were fantastic! I want to thank you for all those lovely notes and gifts on Valentine’s Day. The students had a ball passing out their cards and making you a Valentines Day  Card. I hope you liked the poem.

Good Evening,

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the Super Bowl with your friends and family. It was awesome!

This week we will have a short week.  We will have a small celebration on Thursday, Feb. 11 to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The Students may bring Valentine cards and pass them out to their classmates. We have 23 students. 10 boys and 13 girls. Please do not have them write a students name for it will take too much time to pass then out during class.

Wed-2/10-Library-Bring books to school.

Thur-2/11-Valentine’s Day celebration

I hope everyone is keeping warm and enjoying our winter season. Valentine’s Day is approaching. Students are welcome to bring valentine cards on Thursday, February 11 th. Please do not have them write a students name on the card for it will take too long for each student to pass them out. There are 23 students in the class. There are 10 boys and  13 girls.  Here are some upcoming events:

2/5 Jump for Heart 10:30-11:30 (students will need a signed permisión slip in order to jump.) These were sent home Friday and today.
